FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I register for the conference?
You can register for the conference online by going to “Register” on the homepage.
I have registered, but I cannot log in. Why?
Your registration is still being processed. Once your registration has been accepted, you will receive a second email with all the information you need to access the conference site using the username and password you entered in the registration form.
My registration has been accepted, but I can’t find where to log in.
The “Login” menu is located at the top of the page, in the top bar.
How long can I register for the conference?
As the website and its content will be available for 3 months after the conference, we will accept registrations during these 3 months.
The website is not working, the image is scrolling, why?
You are using the wrong browser. Recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
How does the live chat work?
In order to send a message, you need to fill in the following fields in the live chat window that appears: name, email address. Also, in the “Department” field, you need to select the option that appears. Finally, you must accept the privacy policy. Then you can start the chat.
Where can I find the presentations?
The presentations are available in the “Main Lecture Room”.
How can I ask questions about the presentations?
In the “Main Lecture Room”, click on the “Join the live chat” button on the video. Here a new tab will reappear with the presentation and a chat window will appear on the right hand side of the presentation. Here you can ask questions in writing.
I can’t hear the presentations, why?
You are using the wrong browser. Recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
The sound is muted, which you can control using the slider in the bottom left corner of the screen!
Can I watch the presentations afterwards?
Yes, by entering the “Videos” menu, the presentations will be available for 3 months after the conference.
Where can I find the exhibiting companies?
You can find the virtual stands in the “Sponsors” room. You can also click on the stands to see them in full size.
Can I view the stands of the exhibiting companies afterwards?
Yes, the stands will be available for 3 months after the conference.
Will the conference be accredited?
Yes, the conference will be post-accredited. The conference will end with a test writing session, so we can only credit you for your participation in the Oftex interface if you complete and submit the test.
Where can I complete the test?
You can access the test under “Test Writing”.
Who should I contact if I have further questions?
If you have any questions about the event, please click on the “Information Desk” on the home page.
Here you will find the phone number of the organizing office, you can also send an e-mail or chat live with the office staff.
What do I need to use WONDER?
The minimum requirement is a microphone. Optionally, you can use a camera (optional). The lounge is like a physical space but digital. Each person is represented by a small avatar. By clicking or dragging the mouse over this digital space, you can move around the room. When the avatar gets close to someone else, a video chat opens. Are there more people nearby? A video chat can contain multiple members. You can see other people moving around the room and also when they are talking to each other. You can only hear or see their conversation if you join their group, called a “circle”. How can I move around the room? Click and hold your mouse anywhere in the room. How can I chat with other guests? Place your avatar in a coloured circle and join a conversation! You can also send text messages to communicate with individual guests, your current circle or the whole room.
Supported devices:
Wonder is designed for use on desktop and laptop computers. Wonder does not currently function on tablets or mobile devices. This includes iPads, iPhones, or other similar devices.
